Server address

In a terminal:
gemini mcp add --transport http teleprompter https://teleprompterstudio.affirmdigitalproducts.com/api/mcpThen, in Gemini CLI, run /mcp auth teleprompter and sign in in your browser. To use a personal access token instead, add --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>" to the command.
The Gemini app (custom apps)
Where Google offers custom apps (at the time of writing, personal Google accounts in the US, aged 18+, in English, with Keep Activity on), you can add Teleprompter Studio on the web, and then use it in the mobile app too:
- On a computer, open gemini.google.com → Settings → Connected Apps.
- Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app and paste the server address above.
- Select Next, sign in to Teleprompter Studio and choose Allow.
- In a chat, type @ and pick Teleprompter Studio.
Custom apps are new in Gemini. If the sign-in doesn’t finish, try again later, or use Gemini CLI in the meantime.
Gemini Enterprise (admins)
Business edition: in Gemini Enterprise, open Manage team → Connected apps → Add MCP Server, enter the server address, choose OAuth 2.0 and select Verify Auth, then enable the connection.
Other editions (set up in the Google Cloud console as a custom MCP server data store) ask for a client ID and secret:
- On My account → Connected assistants, choose Set up an app by hand, name it “Gemini Enterprise” and use the redirect URL
https://vertexaisearch.cloud.google.com/oauth-redirect. - Copy the client ID, secret, authorization URL, token URL and scopes it shows into the data store’s OAuth settings, and tick PKCE.
- Enable the Teleprompter Studio actions. Each person signs in with their own Teleprompter Studio account the first time.
