Use Claude with Your Teleprompter

Add Teleprompter Studio as a connector in Claude, then ask Claude to read, polish and mark up your scripts. Needs Teleprompter Studio Pro.

Claude on the web, desktop and mobile

Add the connector once on claude.ai or the Claude desktop app; it then works in the mobile app too.

Free, Pro and Max plans

Open Customize → Connectors, select + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Teleprompter Studio, paste the server address above, and select Continue.
For authentication choose Sign in when needed (or Sign in now), keep Claude’s own published identity for the OAuth client, and select Add.
When Claude opens the Teleprompter Studio page, sign in and choose Allow.

The free Claude plan allows one custom connector.

Team and Enterprise plans

An organization owner adds it once: Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, with the address above. Each member then goes to Customize → Connectors, finds Teleprompter Studio and selects Connect. Everyone signs in with their own Teleprompter Studio account.

Using it in a chat

Select + → Connectors and switch on Teleprompter Studio, then ask away, for example “Tighten my Launch video script for speaking and add pause marks.” Claude may ask you to approve a tool before it saves. Look for Prepare for recording among the connector’s prompts for a full pass on a script.

Claude Code

In a terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http teleprompter-studio https://teleprompterstudio.affirmdigitalproducts.com/api/mcp --scope user

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, choose teleprompter-studio and sign in in your browser. To use a personal access token instead of signing in, add --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>" to the command.

If something isn’t working

“Subscription required”: AI assistants need Teleprompter Studio Pro on the account you signed in with.
To switch account or start again, remove the connector (its sign-in settings can’t be edited), disconnect Claude on My account, and add it again.
Changes don’t appear in the app? It checks for changes every minute while open, or you can reopen the script.
