Teleprompter Studio1. Create a script
Open the app and tap New script. Give it a name (tap the title any time to rename), then write or paste your words. Every line will scroll on the teleprompter. Use folders to keep things tidy — drag cards between them, or use the ⋮ menu to move, rename or delete.
2. Mark up your delivery (optional)
Select any phrase and tap a style in the toolbar to add emphasis or a colour cue, or drop a pause mark. It all shows live as you’ll perform it. See the formatting & cues guide for the full set.
3. Record
Tap Record. Allow camera & microphone access the first time. You’ll see yourself with your script scrolling over the top. Choose the front or rear camera, mirror the preview, and pick a capture quality up to 4K in Settings. Big on-screen dials adjust text size and scroll speed; press play to start the scroll and the red button to record.
In landscape you can pin the text to the left or right half of the screen, next to the lens, so your eyeline stays natural. Recording is resilient — if the app is interrupted mid-take, it recovers what it captured.
4. Or present without recording
Tap Present for a clean, full-screen scroll with no camera — handy for rehearsal, a live talk, or a real teleprompter rig. Turn on mirror writing to reflect a phone or tablet off beam-splitter glass.
Controls & pedals
Drive the scroll hands-free. In Settings → Remote control you can bind actions — play/pause, speed up/down, jump forward/back, restart — to a Bluetooth page-turner, a keyboard key, a mouse button, or a game controller. You can also swipe the text itself to scrub through the script.
