Send takes to your editor (Pro)
Your recordings always stay on the device that made them — but on Pro you can send a copy straight into a real editor. Open a take and tap Send (or Send to editor on the review screen) to:
- Share via your phone’s share sheet — CapCut, Descript, Google Drive, Photos and more show up as targets.
- Save as MP4 — Android/Chrome record in WebM, which Premiere Pro can’t import. This converts the take to MP4 (H.264) on your device so it drops straight into Premiere. (iPhone takes are already MP4.)
- Export the script as a timed transcript (
.srt/.vtt) and a marker sheet (.csv) of your cue and pause beats — timed from the actual take, so they line up in the edit.
It all happens on your device; nothing is uploaded to us.
Higher-quality capture (Pro)
The free plan records at 720p — plenty for social clips. Pro unlocks 1080p and 4K in the recorder’s settings, for delivery-quality footage.
Centralised management (Pro)
Sign in on Pro and your scripts, folders and settings are kept in a central library that syncs to every device you use. Edit a script on your laptop and it’s there on your phone; tweak your cues or reading-line settings once and they follow you everywhere. Syncing uses a simple last-write-wins model on the whole library, so the most recent change is what you’ll see.
You can pick up exactly where you left off — start writing on a desktop, walk over to your camera setup, and record from the same script without copying anything across.
Your privacy
- Recorded video always stays on your device. Only your scripts, folders and settings sync — never your takes.
- Free stays local. On the free plan nothing is written to the server at all; everything lives on your device.
If a subscription lapses
If Pro ends (including a failed payment), your synced library isn’t deleted straight away. There’s roughly a three-month grace window: resubscribe within it and you pick up exactly where you left off. After that, the synced copy is cleared automatically — your on-device data is unaffected.
Upgrading & your account
Upgrade from inside the app — tap Upgrade on the library screen. Because Pro is tied to your account, we’ll sign you in first (email, or Google) if you aren’t already, so your purchase links to the right person.
At checkout your email is filled in and locked to your account’s email. That’s deliberate: Pro is unlocked by matching your purchase to the email you signed in with, so if the two differed you could pay and still see the free plan. Keeping them the same means Pro turns on automatically as soon as you return to the app.
Billing is handled by our payments provider; you can manage or fix billing from the same place. If you ever need to change the email on your subscription, do it from your account rather than at the checkout step.
